LESLIE HASSLER STUDIO
M A S T E R C L A S S
Join me for an immersive Portrait and Lighting Workshop in Upstate New York!
Spend the day one-on-one with me as I share some of my 20 years of experience as a professional photographer + stylist. 📷💃
This is a 1-day hands-on workshop that covers lighting, directing, creating rapport, styling, and how to get the most out of your images.
We'll go over different lighting scenarios in the studio and learn about natural light and shadow outdoors on location.
Once we have done our indoor and outdoor portraiture, we will take a look at workflow in Adobe Lightroom, processing RAW files, cropping, color correcting, and adding your own presets.
From there, I will teach you how to export your jpegs or tiffs and create a web gallery to send your clients.
I have worked on literally hundreds (if not thousands) of photoshoots over the last 20 years and have been thrown into about every situation imaginable as a professional photographer. My 10 years in front of the camera as a Ford model working all over the world gives me a unique understanding of both sides of the lens.
Hand-out sheets with diagrams will allow you to take the information back and apply it to your own photography.
The Workshop is held at my studio upstate in the beautiful Hudson Valley which is only a quick train ride away via Amtrak from NYC.

About Me
LESLIE HASSLER

Leslie began her career assisting some of the best photographers in the world. Her first solo client was Harrison Ford who took her under his wing. One of Leslie's first portraits of Harrison landed on the cover of G.Q.
"I like to keep my shoots very playful and loose. Being very visual, I want everything in the frame to work, so I often style portraits myself, pulling out hats or great clothes I've collected. I love images. I also love clothes! As a teenager, I plastered my walls with photographs torn out of magazines”
Leslie lived and worked as a model in Paris for five years. Back in New York, she studied at NYU Film School. She began writing, directing and editing short films. Among her many passions are film, food, languages and travel.
Leslie’s work has appeared in Rolling Stone, Vanity
Fair, Vogue, Australian Vogue, New York Magazine, Elle, The N.Y. Times, Los Angeles Magazine, and on many covers including G.Q.
She's had two solo gallery shows.
